ネット君臨　あとがき

仲間の記者が海外で起こしたトラブルの処理を担当したことがある。
帰国した後で、自分のことがインターネット上で、批判と揶揄の対象にされていたことを知った。
腹が立ったが、相手がわからなくては、なす術がなかった。
これが、ネット掲示板「２ちゃんねる」を意識した最初だったように思う。

仲間の記者とは毎日新聞カメラマン五味宏基。 トラブルとは、クラスター爆弾をヨルダンのアンマン空港に持ち込んで６名を死傷させた事件のこと。 あとがきを書いたのは、毎日新聞東京本社編集局長伊藤芳明。

人を死なせておいて「腹が立った」とは、もはや何も言うことはない。 批判した相手がわかっていたら、いったい何をするつもりだったのか。 爆弾魔の上司が批判されるのは、どう考えても当たり前のこと。 どうやら、人として最低限の良心すら持ち合わせていないらしい。

毎日新聞のネット批判はこの事件がきっかけとなったというのだから、どれだけ言葉を取り繕おうと、身勝手な逆恨みでしかないことは明白だ。 ヨルダンの事件から５年の月日が流れたが、毎日新聞は自らを省みるどころか、いっそうネットに対する攻撃色を強めている。
